What do you guys think about the Progress Street extension? Have you been using it?
yes it is nice cuts off about 3/10s of a mile one way, course can’t use it when they’re working on the second roundabout. since i have to cut through it.
We can’t get to Progress Street from the east side of the roundabout since the contractors usually have the Northside Drive roundabout in a shambles. So, no, we haven’t mad much use of Progress Street yet.
That intersection is closed to traffic. Unless I am misreading your post.

Extension is a quicker way to downtown from Northside area. It does go through much more residential and by passes shopping area of North Main Food Lion – may change shopping patterns a bit during construction.
